Alabama

How to check the status of your real estate license in Alabama?

During your pre-license course, you’ll apply to the AREC for an identification number. Use this number to check on the status of your AL salesperson license application with AREC’s online services. You can also contact the AREC by calling (334) 242-5544 or emailing [email protected].

Alaska

How to check the status of your real estate license in Alaska?

Visit the Alaska Professional License Lookup to see if your salesperson license is listed. If you created an online account to submit your license application, you can log in to see if your status is updated.

Arizona

California

How to check real estate license status in California?

If you submitted a Combined Exam/License Application, you have two years to pass the state licensing exam and submit the following documents:
• Copies of your three Course Completion Certificates.
• Live Scan Service Request form.
• Consent to Service of Process form (for out-of-state applicants)
• Pay the required fees.

If you received a Salesperson License Application from the DRE or applied in the eLicensing system, you have one year from the date you passed the state exam to submit the completed application and the following documents:
• Live Scan Service Request form.
• Consent to Service of Process form (for out-of-state applicants)
• Pay the required fees.

Colorado

Massachusetts

Check your license status at any time by visiting the license database. Any updates will happen within 24 to 48 hours of issuance.

Mississippi

You can search under "find a license" with the Mississippi Real Estate Commission to check on the status of your license. You will appear in the database once your license has been issued.

Missouri

How to check real estate license status in Missouri?

According to Missouri Statute 339.040(7), the Missouri Real Estate Commission may issue a temporary work permit if it appears the real estate license applicant has met all other state licensing requirements. The temporary work permit is offered as a convenience and means to save time for the newly licensed individual. However, it is noted that the Missouri Real Estate Commission has the authority to withdraw that work permit – at any time - if it deems it necessary.

Montana

Ohio

You will be issued your salesperson license as soon as you pass the state licensing exam. PSI will send your passing score to the Ohio Division of Real Estate. Wait 5 to 10 business days before contacting the ODRE to check on your licensing status. You can also try to look up your license status in the online eLicense Center, but you must have an account to log in.

Oklahoma

Oregon

The Oregon Real Estate Agency uses an online portal for application and license management.

Pennsylvania

How to check real estate license status in Pennsylvania?

The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission needs approximately one week to perform an initial review of your license application.
At the end of one week, the Commission will notify you if any missing documents are required for licensure. If no additional information is needed, the Commission will approve your application and issue you your license.

Rhode Island

South Dakota
