Matthew Scheriff is a New York State Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Exchange Specialist®, a designation granted by the Federation of Exchange Accommodators to professionals who demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code. Mr. Scheriff is a member of the New York State CPA Society, as well as of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators.

Matthew Scheriff worked for several national Qualified Intermediary firms and he is well versed in the structuring of IRC §1031 tax deferred exchange transactions. Mr. Scheriff has authored numerous articles on the tax deferred process in various legal, accounting and real estate publications, as well as frequently lecture to attorneys, accountants, realtors, and other real estate and investment advisors.
